This is a painting I did for my mother. It is the Washington Monument reflection pool during the cherry blossoms.
A tribute to a very close friend who lost her sister. The poem that inspired this painting can be viewed in the poetry section.

The majestic is not a location, it is a feeling an emotion The majestic is not a popular destination, it is a glimpse in time The majestic is not a commodity, it is a priceless treasure from God The majestic is not definable, it is in the eye of the beholder The majestic is not yours or mine, it is a blessing to all who behold it
I did this painting for my younger brother Roger. It is a tribute to his selfless service as a Blackhawk pilot in the Army. He honorably served in multiple combat tours.
Its going to be an early Fall. Brisk air flutters as the crisp leaves sway gently in the mist. Its going to be an early Fall. Once lush vibrant green leaves that matured just a season ago are in rapid decline. Its going to be an early Fall.... The complete poem is located on the Poetry page.
The inspiration for this painting was the view from Sandia Peak over the Duke City at twilight.
This painting was done for my Aunt Kris who loves Owls.
Just to show the detail in the owl and under painting.
The canvas on this painting was hand stretched from a WWII canvas tent that Uncle Bill has been using on other paintings for years.
This was a small painting for my niece who lives in Amarillo TX.
This was a small painting that was given to my niece Christmas 2014

A fun painting that was a study in bold vibrant colors and use of texture.
Instead of giving my mom flowers for mothers day I thought I would paint them for her to enjoy everyday.
This was my second painting. Inspired by Fall colors and a higher calling.
The painting that started it all!
